The 80 furnished single rooms grouped in three-, four- and eight-students shared apartments and the four semi-apartments can be rented for up to six months. All shared apartments have a shared kitchen and shared bathroom. The rooms are equipped with telephone, TV and Internet access. Breakfast can be booked for guests of the residential groups on request via the hotel.

Duration of housing
The maximum tenancy at the Landlord‘s residences is limited to 36 months. Periods at other state-sponsored homes of residence in Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Esslingen and Göppingen count as well for the maximum tenancy.

Once you have been accepted into the programme of studies by the University of Stuttgart, you may apply for a dormitory room by completing the online application on the website of the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart before the requisite deadline. Be sure to select your correct Double Master’s programme in the section “Data about the course of study.”

Please be aware that the International Office does not influence dormitory housing assignments. The Studierendenwerk has sole responsibility for assigning dormitory rooms and does so without regard to individual preferences. If no accommodation can be provided for you through the quota of the International Office, it will be up to you to search for an apartment or a room on your own.
For exchange students from overseas and Erasmus+ students from Serbia, Belarus, Bosnia and Russia, the Office of International Affairs can provide accommodation in one of the student dormitories of the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart (owner of the student dormitories). You will receive further information after the application deadline.
In order to register for a dorm room you must complete the online application on the website of the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart before the deadline indicated below. Make sure you select “Overseas” as programme in the section “Data about the study course”.

After having received and accepted admission to one of the following Master’s programmes you will be informed by the course director of your programme how and when to apply for a room in the dormitories of the Studierendenwerk Stuttgart (Student Services).
