Photo Competition: A piece of Germany

Whether it’s a ''real German Bratwurst'' eaten in a foreign country or the fact, that many children attend Kindergarten – German traces can be found all across the world. Study-in.de asked you to search for these ''Pieces of Germany''. 40 of our fans uploaded their pics. We proudly present the winners.

Germany is a multicultural country with people from many different nations living together peacefully. Our language is spoken in many different countries. Did you know that there are over 100 000 German speakers in Indonesia, almost 300 000 in Japan and more than two Million in Poland?

That’s why we started wondering how much of our culture and country can be found abroad? Be it a German Bakery in India, a city in a U.S. bearing of a German name or anything else you find related to “Deutschland” – take a picture of it and enter it in our photo competition.

40 of our fans entered more than 50 pictures, all of them showing funny, beautiful or typical aspects of Germany. Here are the winners:
