The city of Essen and the Ruhrgebiet are the Capital of Culture 2010. However, what is it like to live in Dortmund and Essen? What's special about Bochum or why is Duisburg worth a visit. On www.kulturhauptstaedte.net you will find the answers starting March 15.

2010 is a very special year for the city of Essen and the Ruhrgebiet because the whole region is the Capital of Culture 2010. Twelve month of partying with the DAAD joining in. On March 15 we will start the blog "kulturhauptstaedte.net", made for all foreign students, who are currently living in the Ruhrgebiet and who would like to share their experience with others.
